1946 Apr. First president Yoshinobu Yoshida starts his own business in Matoba-cho, Hiroshima City
1949 Apr. Established the Futaba Seisakusho factory in Nobori-cho, Hiroshima City
1954 May Relocated to Ozu-machi, Hiroshima City and began manufacturing automobile parts
1958 Mar. Purchased 2,148.8 m2 (23,129.1 sq. ft.) of land in Ozu-machi, Hiroshima City for a total of 2,314.0 m2 (24,908.2 sq. ft.) of factory space and of 277.7 m2 (2989.0 sq. ft.) of space used for building/relocating offices and other facilities
1960 Jan. Incorporated for purposes of business growth
1967 Sep. Began doing business with Toyo Kogyo Co., Ltd. (currently Mazda Motor Corporation)
1973 Oct. Sakurae Factory established in Sakurae-cho, Ochi-gun, Shimane Prefecture, and Company name changed to Futaba Kogyo Co., Ltd.
1975 Jan. Designated by Toyo Kogyo Co., Ltd. (currently Mazda Motor Corporation) as company that achieves excellence in quality
1978 May Nobuhide Yoshida becomes the company president
1984 May Ozu Plant opened in Ozu 3-chome
1987 May Large Press Line B added at the Sakurae Factory and new Ozu Plant built
1988 Nov. Memoirs published to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the death of the Company's founder Company dormitory built in Sakurae-cho
1990 July Large Press Line C added at the Sakurae Factory to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the company's incorporation
1992 May Cafeteria / cafe space with a 300-persons capacity added to the Company headquarters
1993 Apr. 3D CAD introduced
1994 Oct. Helped construct an elementary school in Nepal and received a letter of thanks from the Nepalese government
1995 Feb. Headquarters and Ozu Plant are the first and second facilities in the Hiroshima area to be recognized under the Comfortable Workplace Promotional Project
1996 Jan. Sakurae Factory is the second facility in the Ochi-gun area to be recognized under the Comfortable Workplace Promotional Project Received the Labor Bureau Chief's Award for Effort from the Hiroshima Labor Bureau
