Futaba Kogyo held the observation activity of Imported cars(high-quality European cars)
It was aimed to analyze the structure of these cars and to perceive the latest design.
In the car industry,this is so-called “bench mark activity”
By offering this sort of opportunity often,we have made use of what we leamt for increasing our knowledge and developing more attractive product.

　
Checking how it constructed

Futaba Kogyo has encouraged our employees to participate actively in various external trainings to progress knowledge and skill.
One of these trainings, which is “IE Pro. Training Course” organized by Toyukai Affiliated Corporation, was held on July 21 at our Hofu plant.
The participants from Toyukai Affiliated Corporation were divided into some groups and discussed how we can improve our work-place and increase productivity along with considering the IE method.
The IE method is; Predicting improvement effect by assessing quantitatively various　wastes come up at the production lines. For wastes reduction, reducing unnecessary walking/bringing stuff closer/preventing equipment from accidental stop/etc.
This training course offers us the lecture study once or twice a monthly for 6 months, including practical trainings at Toyukai Affiliated Corporation’s plants.
To cultivate human resources capable of understanding and practicing IE method, we participate in it every year. This experience has made positive effects on our actual improvement activity.

Sales of the new Mazda Roadster commenced on May 21.
The new Roadster incorporates a Futaba Kogyo instrument panel member, one of the Company’s key products, as well as our aluminum rear bumper reinforcement, side sill reinforcement, link bracket, fuel lid and fuel box and other body shell parts.
With the goal of achieving vehicle weight reductions, we diversified our use of high-tensile-strength steel plate materials and implemented advanced press molding techniques to achieve stable product quality. Furthermore, we implemented steady improvements such as enhancing yield rates to save resources and reduce costs, enabling us to make significant contributions in terms of environmental conservation.

Sales of the newly-developed compact Mazda CX-3 SUV commenced on February 27.
The CX-3 incorporates a Futaba Kogyo instrument panel member, one of the Company’s key products, as well as our roof rail interior member, roof reinforcement, B-pillar reinforcement, fuel lid and fuel box and other body shell parts.
With the goal of achieving vehicle weight reductions, we diversified our use of high-tensile-strength steel plate materials and implemented advanced press molding technigues to achieve stable product quality.Furthermore, we implemented steady improvements such as enhancing yield rates to save resources and reduce costs, enabling us to make significant contributions in terms of environmental conservation.
